Naruto cries for Hinata (441)

This is not a rant (ok... maybe it is).

I have to start by saying when I first started watching Naruto, I started with the anime. I'm not much of a manga reader, not because I don't like it, but because I get a much more intense feeling watching animation, with the gestures, the voices, the music...etc. When I first read something that is later adapted to animation, I often feel dissapointed at the result. Who wouldn't have wished LOTR was longer and more close to the books, or Game or Thrones, or even Harry Potter. I hate comparing, since I feel animation and literature are two completely different ways of communication.

That being said, I hate people that go all the way saying "Bla bla naruhina is trash, the fillers in Naruto doesn't count, so the waterfall scene is bullshit". And I think to myself...

Have you even read the freaking manga? It's FULL of subtle messages that indicates that Hinata was so much in love with him even being a little girl and Naruto caring sooo much more about her than any other person besides Sasuke and Sakura.

Then people always say "You are reading too much into it, not because they gave eachother a look with a smile or a blush it means that they have feelings for one another". And I completely agree. Sometimes looking at someone is just looking... but come on, look at Naruto pressing his heart, shivering, crying, his damn expression. Does she really mean nothing to him? Why would the author choose to make him feel so much pain if she was just a side character to kick off later on? No, he never said he loved her back... but would you react like that if you felt nothing at all? That's more than friendship.

Why do I say this...
Simple, because if it was just friendship, Naruto would have had the same reaction he had when he heard Kakashi had died.

Consider. In that very same fight:
- KONOHA his home town was destroyed. How does he react? -> [link] I'd say he is shocked. Then, he is f*cking mad -> [link]


- KAKASHI, his SENSEI, FREAKING DIED! How does Naruto react to that? -> [link]

But when Hinata is killed infront of him, he goes berserk.

Still... people say she doesn't mean much to him, that they never talked, that she is just a side character with no power or importance. Can't they see Hinata's importance and real power? She is the character that resembles Naruto the most, not because the way they act, but they way they think. They have the same wishes. They want to overcome their failures at whatever cost so they can be recognized as being more than losers and embarrasements. They share the same "ninja way" (Nindo).

Some even said he was grabbing his chest because of those chakra poles Pain hurt him with. NO THAT NOT TRUE. Naruto is in Sage mode, which means he can feel everyone's chakra, that why he eventually feels Hinata is alive.
He is touching his chest, right over his heart, because he is in pain, because he thinks he killed Hinata or obliterated her body going nine tales beside her.

And then look his reaction, when he feels she is alive... He cries... I mean, he really cries thanking god she is alive, he is shivering in relief.

Anyway, I wanted to go back to the main point, the whole filler versus canon, manga versus anime.

I posted this because is CANON, no excuses. The anime doesn't even make a big deal out of this scene. But in the manga, is soooo clear. So, whenever you need to shut the mouth of a fanboy/fangirl who says NaruHina have nothing and it will never happens, just throw capter 441 on their asses xDDD
